We had the opportunity to review Taste of Nature gluten-free bars recently. These bars are great because they are so clean, filled with quality ingredients and are certified gluten-free, organic and non-GMO. Each bar is under 200 calories which is great for those being mindful of caloric intake. I also love that these bars are made in a facility powered by renewable energy. Here were our thoughts.
Himalayan Goji: Perfectly sweet with a nice, chewy texture. This bar was reminiscent of a peanut butter and jelly for me. It was a very nice treat.
California Almond Valley: Again, this one was nice and chewy. The sesame seeds gave it great texture and flavor.
Canadian Maple Forest: I really enjoyed this one because it reminded me of traditional breakfast flavors like maple. I also liked the texture of the little brown rice crisps. My hubs thought the nuts were a little too large but I really enjoyed it. I think this would be a really great breakfast on-the-go.
Brazilian Nut Forest: This bar was full of larger nuts and little crispies. It was very nutty without the fruit but was also slightly sweet thanks to brown rice syrup and agave nectar.
Quebec Cranberry Carnival: I thought this bar was fruity and sweet. With the addition of the beautiful cranberries this made for a pretty bar. The flavor reminded me of the muesli I used to eat in Ukraine years ago. It was chewy and soft making it a great one for the kiddos.
Persian Pomegranate: This bar was very soft and filled with tangy pomegranates. The figs really added fantastic flavor and a natural sweetness to the bar.
