Have you heard of Melt Organic, a natural butter spread? If not that’s ok because it was new to me as well. Now, I am not usually the type to use butter alternatives. I don’t like that they are often filled with soy and chemicals. The great thing about Melt is that it is not. It is truly a different alternative to butter and one that you can feel happy about eating!
Melt Organic is unlike any other spread out there. In addition to being gluten-free it is also free of soy, lactose and casein, artificial colors and preservatives, as well as partially or hydrogenated oils. It is organic and kosher as well as certified GMO which I personally love. Now you are probably asking yourself, “But how is the taste?” Well, it is fantastic!! I had my husband use it on his food without telling him what it was and he didn’t say anything… he hadn’t even noticed the difference!
Melt comes in three different flavors: Original, Honey and Chocolate
We decided to use the original flavor of Melt on our roasted acorn squash and it was fantastic! Just add it the last 10 minutes of baking your squash for a succulent taste. In addition to adding it to vegetables and starches like potatoes, rice and gluten-free bread, we also used it in recipes as we would butter and it worked great. Melt is very versatile and tastes great and can definitely be used as butter for baking.
