I saw the cutest idea on Pinterest for sweet nachos using cinnamon sugar corn chips made from scratch. While this looked delicious, it just wasn’t practical for me to make right now. I wanted an easier version of this sweet creation so immediately one of my favorite brands, Food Should Taste Good, and their chocolate chips came to mind. What better base for sweet nachos than those?! I was so excited to dress them up with small diced strawberries, ooey gooey dark chocolate drizzled over top and finished with dollops of cool whip cream.
These sweet nachos not only taste great but make a great presentation. I tell you, put those in front of guests in your home and they will wonder what kind of culinary genius you are! I love knowing that when I enjoy Food Should Taste Good chips I am eating clean ingredients as they never use GMO corn, and only use real ingredients to make their chips. They have so many great flavors including chocolate, kettle corn (Which is sweet but just a bit salty and SO good!), white cheddar (Which is bursting with robust white cheddar taste. They are great on their own or with dip.) and even Kimchi (Which had a fantastic bold flavor of an array of vegetables you would find in traditional kimchi.) *In a mixing bowl, combine the whipping cream and powdered sugar on high until stiff peaks form. Wash and dice strawberries into small “salsa like” pieces. On a platter, arrange the chocolate corn chips evenly. Use a spoon to drizzle warm dark or milk chocolate over the chips. Top with diced strawberries and fresh whipped cream. Mmmm…
