25 Days of Gluten-Free Giveaways™ #4 Delight Gluten Free Magazine

IMG_9965

Delight Gluten Free is my absolute favorite magazine with the focus of gluten-free living. I’ve said it before and I will say it again, it is the “Vogue” of gluten-free magazines with it’s hip interviews, up-to-date travel resources and phenomenal recipes. Delight really does an amazing job at making the gluten-free life a glamorous one! I still remember one of my favorite issues was focused on tastes of the White House. I love that they created recipes around major presidents tastes and history. It was delicious and insightful! :) All articles are very well written and the recipes are so ingenius. One of my favorite things is how they create recipes that meet all needs. They have a section with gluten-free on a budget recipes with the breakdown of cost per serving. They have often feature gluten-free products you already have in your home like Bakery on Main’s flavored oatmeals then create mouth watering recipes using those pantry items. It is always exciting to see what they will create in each issue. I have all three major gluten-free magazine subscriptions (I know, I know…) and it is the one I get most excited about for sure! I would highly recommend, especially at this time of year, considering subscriptions for not only yourself but also for loved ones who live gluten-free. Give the gift that keeps on giving as each month the recipient can dive in and create dishes for more people who live gluten-free!

AND, I couldn’t be more excited to announce…

  1. I look forward to seeing recipes and would love to see more tips how to avoid being glutened in social settings and how best to advocate the need to avoid gluten among friends without boring them to tears.

  2. easy, budget friendly GF recipes

  3. I would love to learn more about baking with almond flour and coconut flour. I don’t think they taste great on their own but I have tried to incorporated them with other high protein grain flours to make healthier gluten free cakes and snacks; some have turned out great some have not. I also would love to read about making gluten free breads with a lot less starches.

  5. Shannon D. says:

I’m a fan of Delight Magazine and Simply Gluten Free. Like Diana R, I prefer using paleo base, like coconut or almond flour as opposed to empty carbs. I’d like to incorporate more ancient grains in place of rice and potato starches. One thing I’ve found about coconut flour is that it absorbs a lot more moisture so it can’t be used in equal measure to replace other flours.

  6. I would love some GF recipes with easy DF alternatives
