25 Days of Gluten-Free Giveaways™ #18 Silver Hills Bakery

Have you heard of Silver Hills Bakery? They are a Canada based company offering gluten-free, high-fiber bread that is full of nutritious ingredients to fuel your body. For me, a person with a tortuous colon who must live a high-fiber diet indefinitely, this was a Heaven send. It is so incredibly hard for me to maintain a high-fiber diet while living gluten-free as I have done without cheating since my celiac diagnosis over 5 years ago. There are a lot of awesome gluten-free breads out there. The best ones usually don’t have too many nutrient dense ingredients though because then they lose their light, traditional bread appearance. Silver Hills Bakery gluten-free bread is more dense but that is because it is full of wonderful things your body needs. I have a piece of toasted bread nearly everyday either with breakfast or made into an open face sandwich. I have noticed a difference in my bodies digestions when I consume this bread over others. My belly just seems to be happier overall.

This bread is great with sweet jam or peanut butter as well as served in more of a savory fashion with turkey, lettuce and pickles. I use the bread as a base for many different types of sandwiches. Most recently, I enjoyed a grilled onion and quinoa burger sandwich which was fantastic! The options really are endless. Here are some other reasons for choosing Silver Hills Bakery gluten-free bread directly from their website.
