Three Bakers Thanksgiving Themed Giveaway!!

If you have tried Three Bakers gluten-free products then you know how amazing they are. If you haven’t tried them yet, then you are in for a real treat! I was astounded at how delicious this herb seasoned stuffing was. My family LOVED it and my hubs thought he was getting a really special dinner when I served this up on a non-Thanksgiving day. He is a stuffing loving, non-gluten free man so the fact that he really enjoyed this is saying a lot. I chose to make something unique with this product. I had some fresh acorn squash and red potatoes that I wanted to use. I also had sausage so I thought combining the meat, potato and stuffing to fill inside the squash would be a delicious idea that would also make for a great presentation. This was definitely a meal that warmed us up (not that it’s too cold here in AZ ;) and made us feel that Fall was in the air.

Easy Sausage, Potato and Stuffing filled Acorn Squash

1 lb. gluten-free, nitrate free ground sausage

2 medium red potatoes

2 acorn squash

1/2 box Three Bakers (or other brand) gluten-free stuffing, prepared

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Slice acorn squash in half with a sharp knife and place in a 9×13 baking dish with 1/4 in. water on the bottom. Fill each squash with 1 tsp butter. Cook acorn squash for  1 hr or until soft when touched with a fork. While the squash is cooking, cook the sausage making sure to crumble into small pieces. While the sausage is cooking, shred the potatoes using a large cheese grater. Make sure to squeeze excess liquid out as well. Remove sausage with a spatula or slotted spoon once it is browned and add the shredded potatoes to the remaining sausage grease. Cook on medium heat until tender. Combine cooked sausage and potatoes with prepared gluten-free stuffing. When squash are done, remove them and place your stuffing mixture inside. Serve hot and enjoy!

Three Bakers also has AMAZING bread! I couldn’t believe how soft, flavorful and reminiscent of “regular” bread this was. It is definitely one of my favorite gluten-free breads. It can be eaten without being toasted and makes excellent sandwich bread. With rye and ancient grain, as well as others to choose from, Three Bakers really delivers a great gluten-free product.
