Glutino Peppermint Yogurt Covered Pretzels & Sugar Cookie Giveaway!!

IMG_9843Oh my goodness, there are not words enough to describe my love for these NEW Glutino products! Both are truly amazing whether you live gluten-free or not but especially for those of us who can’t have gluten, to be able to have an option like this is well, AWESOME!!

Peppermint Yogurt Pretzels- The regular yogurt covered pretzels from Glutino were one of my favorite gluten-free treats so when they gave them a holiday makeover and added crushed peppermint candies, I was in Heaven! These are fantastic right out of the bag for a snack but if you can (which would be very hard) control yourself and save some for a recipe, may I suggest crunching them in the bag using a rolling pin then topping them over Glutino’s brownie mix and baking the whole treat? It is a fabulous way to give your brownies more of a holiday feel. Another fun Idea is to actually crush them up and add them to your sugar cookie dough then proceed to cook the cookies per the instructions on the back of the box. This makes a fabulous peppermint pretzel sugar cookie that nobody can resist!

Sugar Cookie Mix- Sugar cookies are my favorite because they just have that delicious, buttery sugar taste that you remember as a kid. They are a blank canvas for those who want to do more with them (like the suggestion I gave above of adding the crushed peppermint yogurt pretzels to the dough before cooking). I was that weird kid that asked my mom if I could please have some of her cookie dough before she added chocolate chips because I didn’t want chocolate in mine. These sugar cookies are a great treat for anyone whether you are sugar cookie or chocolate fan because a smear of fudge frosting on top of them makes them divine as well.

Please be sure to learn more about Glutino on their Facebook and Twitter pages. So are you ready to win some sugar cookie mix and peppermint yogurt pretzels all for yourself?! Enter below…

To jazz up these sugar cookies, I would get many different kinds and colors of sprinkles and frosting and invite my little nephew/god son over so we could have a cookie decorating party. He’s creative just like his Auntie and loves to do things like this for the different holidays. He is also very aware at his 7 years of age, that his Auntie cannot eat certain things because she is allergic and asks about it all the time. So I like to show him when I can, that although I can’t eat everything he does, there are people out there that are trying to change this & make things easier. Food doesn’t always have to be so hard for his Auntie.
