Second Helping Feature and GIVEAWAY!!

MM On Spoon Corn Puppies on plate

Have you been missing nostalgic favorites like meatballs and corn puppies? Now you can get them gluten free and DELICIOUS from Second Helping! I was thoroughly impressed with this company and the quality of their products. Yes, they are processed but minimally and the taste shows that. They really tasted like the homemade versions. I also really liked that the corn puppies included turkey dogs rather than beef since we are trying to change up that meats we eat and feed our boys. When I opened each bag I was shocked at the size of each. No nonsense here, they are full size products that definitely make you feel like you got your moneys worth. The meatballs had a delicious flavor that could easily be complimented by a nice stroganoff sauce or marinara. They would even be perfect in the crock pot for appetizers.

Second Helping is doing it right and we love that. Gluten, dairy, casein, soy and nut free make these products excellent for those suffering from multiple food allergies. PLUS they support group causes. Just read for yourself…

Second Helping will be serving Corn Puppies and Mama’s Meatballs at Camp Celiac in Livermore. Each summer, The Taylor Family Foundation (TTFF) hosts Camp Celiac at no cost to campers or their families. We are happy to support TTFF in their endeavor to provide celiac children with a fun, safe and nurturing camp experience.

Second Helping proudly supports the Second Harvest Food Bank, one of the largest food banks in the nation. Second Harvest provides food to an average of nearly one quarter of a million people each month. Nearly half of the food distributed is fresh produce. Second Harvest plays a leading role in promoting federal nutrition programs and educating families on how to make healthier food choices.

Giving back to the community is a priority. I believe that it’s never too early to get kids involved in philanthropy, so when the opportunity comes up, I treat it as a family outing.
