Jennie-O Feature and GIVEAWAY!!

IMG_3539I am so lucky to have a such an amazing chef in my husband. When I am late getting home from an evening meeting or event, he has thoughtfully prepared something like what you see above. This gluten free pasta dish is one that we all love when he makes. He changes it up each time by using different protein. This time he sliced and cooked some Jennie-O Italian turkey sausage to put in the sauce. It was fantastic! Not only was it tasty but it was easy and quick.

Turkey Sausage Tomato Pasta (In a hurry!)

1 package of gluten free spiral noodles

1 package of Jennie-O Sweet Italian turkey sausage

1 jar of gluten free, organic marinara sauce

fresh basil and parmesan

*Slice turkey sausage into discs and in a skillet, cook until lightly browned. Meanwhile, cook your gluten free pasta as directed on the package. Add sauce and simmer on low until sauce is nice and warm. Top with fresh basil and parmesan and viola!

As you may know, my husband and I have been doing Body Beast. Jennie-O has really helped me with the high intake of lean proteins while on this gluten free meal plan required to build the kind of muscle you want to on Body Beast. Chicken breast can get old so with Jennie-O I am finding that I can still eat lean while feeling like I am enjoying old favorites like sausage and bacon.

  9. I would make turkey meatballs with spaghetti. Or make a sub with them on Schar rolls with tomato sauce and cheese.
