The Healthy Gluten Free Life Book-
I have to say that I have reviewed A LOT of cookbooks while doing Gluten Free Frenzy and I usually enjoy each and every one of them. However, when The Healthy Gluten Free Life arrived, I immediately fell in love and dubbed it as my favorite! My husband and I are doing P90X so it was perfect timing to be reviewing this wonderful book. It made our strict diet so much more fun!
My mom, who has celiac disease as well, actually called me out of the blue and said I needed to review her new favorite cookbook so our thousands of GFF fans could be introduced to the best gluten free cookbook out there. When I asked the name of it, I was ex-tactic to hear that it was The Healthy Gluten Free Life, MY new favorite cookbook as well! As many of you know, my uncle is the owner of Real Salt, Redmond Clay (the only stuff that takes away the pain after being accidentally glutened) and the Real Foods Markets in Utah so my family is naturally very healthy. When I saw things our family uses everyday in this book as recommendations, like Applegate Farms nitrate-free hot dogs, I was even more excited to get cooking! We have literally been using this cookbook multiple nights a week. We love it!
While doing P90X this book has been especially helpful in making healthy and delicious meals. I love all the color photos which help guide the reader as to what the end product should look like. My favorite part was that in the back where you normally find a glossary of recipes, I found a beautiful array of mini pictures of each recipe divided into breakfasts, sides, entrees, desserts and more with the page numbers. It was seriously the best glossary I have every seen!
If there is one gluten free cookbook I recommend, it is absolutely this one. To be able to learn how to make scones, English muffins and ginger salmon all in one cookbook with pictures of every recipe, is amazing! Hats off to Tammy Credicott for creating this wonderful, gluten free cookbook.
Don’t forget to pre-order Tammy’s new book, Paleo Indulgences, on Amazon or Barnes and Noble. The book is available in bookstores September 21, 2012. Hopefully you will see a review on that this fall, be on the lookout!
*After letting Tammy know just how much I adore this cookbook, she has so generously offered a SIGNED copy of it to one of my amazing Gluten Free Frenzy followers! Thank you Tammy!
