Feature and Review: San J Gluten Free Tamari Soy Sauce and other products

If you live gluten free, then you know of San-J. It is one of the best gluten free soy sauces out there. Soy sauce is one of those staples that every fridge needs to have. If you have a gluten sensitivity or celiac disease than finding a soy sauce that will meet your health needs while also tasting great can be hard to find. Not anymore! Not only does San-J offer a wonderful gluten free soy sauce, but they also offer gluten free dressings, crackers and more using their delicious, gluten free soy sauce.

I recently had the opportunity to try multiple gluten free items, here is what I found.

Tamari regular and organic gluten free soy sauce: This was excellent taste and smooth texture. Works perfectly in any recipe calling for soy sauce as well as on rice and gluten free sushi. One of my favorite recipes calls for soy sauce, so I used this and it was great!

Chinese Noodle Casserole

My hubby loved this recipe! It was a childhood favorite of mine so I converted it to gluten-free so I could share it with my kids.

1 pound grass-fed, organic ground beef
3-4 c. cooked organic brown rice
1 packet gluten free onion soup mix
1 c. gluten-free cream of mushroom soup
1 pint organic sour cream
2 Tbls. Tamari, gluten-free soy sauce
1 1/2 c. crushed gluten-free pretzels
1/2 tsp. Real Salt
dash of black pepper

*Cook ground beef until done. Make sure to break into small-medium size pieces while cooking. In a medium sized round casserole dish, combine all ingredients except half of the pretzels. Cook at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes. Eat hot with remaining pretzels on top.

Orange Sauce: I used this sauce to make a delicious orange fried chicken using Applegate Farms gluten free chicken nuggets and pineapple. Easy and delicious!
Tamari Peanut Salad Dressing: Topped with crispy rice noodles and slivered almonds, this made an excellent chinese salad! Dark greens and diced chicken also went well with this very flavorful dressing.
Tamari Black Sesame Brown Rice Cracker: These were SO delicious! Crispy and lightly flavored like the gluten free tamari soy sauce, they were very tasty on their own or topped with a nice soft, gluten free cheese.
