Gluten free at a community event, so exciting!!!

Tonight at my church’s Relief Society meeting I was pleasantly surprised to see this on the dessert table. I had totally planned on not being able to eat anything because I had seen them cutting cake. So imagine how incredibly happy I was to be greeted by my own special, gluten free dessert! Plain, gluten free yogurt, diced fruit and gluten free granola.

The best part? Men were in charge of the refreshments for the evening! When I told the nice, gentlemen in charge how thoughtful and kind that was, he said it was just a little something he thought about in the middle of the night. I am so glad he followed through and made this available for those of us who needed it. I do have to tell you one of the funniest things though, was watching these adorable, little old ladies take their piece of cake and then grab a gluten free dessert as well. You gotta love them! :)

  1. The same thing happened to me last night…only it was delicious gf cupcakes that a dear (non-gf) friend of mine made. She's always looking out for me and the couple of other women who have to eat gf.

  2. I love that! So fun when people look out for you. :)

  3. How awesome! Love when people go out of their way for me, makes me feel special :)
