We are kicking off our February, “Sweets For Your Sweet!” Event with an awesome giveaway and feature of yummy gluten free products from Jewel’s Cupcake Shop. When we first got the products for review from Julie, Owner of Jewel’s Cupcake Shop, the treats were almost too beautiful to eat! We couldn’t resist though and dove right in. The cupcakes were so moist and delicious. The Salted Caramel was just the right amount of sweet, with a nice touch of sea salt. Who can resist sweet and salty?! I know I can’t. The salt really brings out the beautiful sweet flavor in a dessert. I imagine that is why it has become so popular recently. The chocolate cupcake with chocolate chips couldn’t have been more soft and moist. I usually don’t like a bunch of chocolate, but I gobbled this little treat right up. The frosting was smooth and creamy while the cake itself was full of rich chocolate flavor. Finally, the award-winning apple pie cupcake was reminiscent of fall days in my home town and mom’s apple pie. It was absolutely delicious and so full of great apple pie flavor, complete with the cinnamon and sugar notes.
The Linzer cookies were another great treat we were able to review and let me just tell you, not only were they gorgeous but they were so delicious! They were soft and buttery with a nice tart jam filling. I love jam filled cookies but had never had one this good. Great job Julie! 
As you can see, the non-gluten free hubby loved them too.
Finally, we reviewed Jewel’s Cupcake Shop’s all-purpose flour, chocolate chip cookie mix and brownie mix. All of which we used to make treats at our sweet baby’s first birthday party (a gluten free cookies and milk theme) and nobody even knew they were gluten free they tasted so good! 
The all-purpose flour was so easy to work with and could actually be exchanged equally in a traditional cookie recipe for flour. It was so nice and easy.
