"New Year, New You!" Event GIVEAWAY and Feature on Bakery on Main!

Bakery On Main has come out with some great new products! We recently had the opportunity of reviewing their three new certified gluten free, instant oatmeal's and oh my goodness were they good! With flavors like Maple Multigrain Muffin, Apple Pie and my personal favorite, Strawberry Shortcake how could you go wrong? You can't and they most certainly did not. These hot cereals are definitely the best certified gluten free oatmeal's I have had yet. I really love keeping quick, healthy things like this on hand for those mornings when you just don't feel like cooking or when you are in a hurry but don't want to fill your belly with the lack of nutrients that most cold cereals offer. Ingredients like certified gluten free oats which have been shown to aide in weight loss when enjoyed in moderation at breakfast, freeze dried fruits, chia seeds, flax meal, quinoa, amaranth and sea salt I know I am feeding my boys a nutritious breakfast as well as helping myself keep off the pounds. There is evaporated cane juice as a sweetener but with 10 grams per packet (which makes up a nice big bowl of hot cereal) I feel that the roughly teaspoon and a half of sweetener isn't too bad, especially when considering all the great, whole grain nutrients that are also in the bowl.

Strawberry Shortcake was so nostalgic for me as strawberries and cream hot cereal used to be my favorite. I was able to enjoy something I haven't in a long time without losing the integrity of a gluten free meal. The sweetness was just right and I loved the real strawberries in every bite, yum!
Maple Multigrain Muffin really was like biting into a tasty fresh baked muffin without all the unnecessary carbs and sugars. This was also very nice with fresh sliced banana.
Apple Pie was my hubby's favorite. The flavor was just right and was very reminiscent of a homemade apple pie. Apple pie for breakfast, count me in!
