25 Days of Christmas Giveaways…Gluten Free of Course #16 Bigelow Teas

“The weather outside is frightful but the fire is so delightful, and since we’ve no place to go, let it snow, let it snow, let it snow…” The holiday season always makes me think of cold winter nights and warm holiday herbal tea. There is nothing like a hot glass of holiday themed tea. I just love that flavors and smells can be so nostalgic and remind you of wonderful memories. The smell of Bigelow peppermint tea does just that. One sip and you will be “…dreaming of a white Christmas.”

These delicious teas pair so well with a nice Christmas cookie, or a warm holiday biscuit. For our review we tried the following herbal teas. (Please note that the Eggnog’n and the Pumpkin spice teas included in this wooden chest are not herbal, however, the Apple Cider and the Ginger Snappish are herbal.)

Ginger Snappish- Great ginger flavor that wasn’t too overpowering. Almost like a gingersnap!
Apple Cider- Sweet and reminiscent of a fall day. This lightly spiced tea was very tasty.
Peppermint- Like Christmas in your mouth! If there were a prize for best candy cane tea, this would win.
Orange & Spice- Spice and citrus notes make this tea a hit. It is especially good served with a lightly sweetened gluten free shortbread.

Another reviewer for us tried the non-herbal teas and loved them! Here is what she thought.

Eggnog’n- A great version of everyone’s favorite holiday drink without the extra calories.
Decaffeintaed Spiced Chai- She loved this one with a little milk and sugar and thought it made for the perfect blend of sweet and spice.
Decaffeinated French Vanilla- Soothing and great with a little milk.
Pumpkin Spice- This was an excellent holiday harvest tea with just the right amount of fall spices.
