I would love to win this book. My daughter and I went to Savannah this summer. It was my first vacation since my diagnosis and we had researched restaurants as much as possible but the first 4 restaurants we went in on the first day all said they would not “deal” with the no gluten. It was very frustrating.

  10. Julie Dobson says:

This book would be wonderful as a family of 5 it is hard to find great inexpensive places to eat. Also with starting a new job in Phoenix many co-workers like to eat out, which usally leaves me out. :(

  11. I would love this book for my Celiac daughter who is always getting cross-contaminated when eating out at restaurants. This would make it much easier for her to find restaurants that are both trustworthy and gluten-free! Thanks…

  12. I would love this book for a guide so I could go out to eat more!

  13. I'm interested in this book because besides celiac I have other food allergies and it is very difficult to eat out and I'd love to be able to do so safely! Thanks for a great giveaway Chandyce!

  14. I would love to explore this book because my husband and I travel a lot, and enjoy eating out together. PLUS, I would love to see what the book says about my current area, since I feel like I am out of the GF dining loop here, as well as my hometown, which I know is chock full of great places to eat!

    Thanks for the giveaway!

  18. This book seems so useful because I eat out quite a bit, and while I can often refer to my iTouch for GF options, I don't always plan when I'm eating out, and Internet is always available. This would be such a fabulous tool to keep in the car! =)

  19. lovepoetes says:

This would be so great to have. I have only eaten out about twice now since going GF. And I was very nervous. It would be great to have this with me when you have no choice but to eat out.

Sorry, I realized I forgot to include my email in my comment post. It is lovepoetes@aol.com

  21. It sounds interesting because it is HARD to find places to eat that cater to the needs of gluten free people.

  22. this would be perfect for traveling or on just one those nights where you are exhausted and need a break from cooking and stressing what to cook.

  23. Would love to have an easy reference to where to eat out gluten free!

  24. This would be wonderful while traveling!

  25. great book

  26. I have the fourth edition and use it often – especially when we are out of town. I'd love to have the updated version!

  27. I have to travel a lot for work so I'm always in unfamiliar places. This book would be a God send for me.

  28. I have this book from last year and find it very useful when traveling..even going to a different city in our own state. I would love to win this updated version!!

  29. Dining out is one of the most frustrating aspects of living gluten-free. I absolutely love going to restaurants, but it is so upsetting when you either can't find anything to eat or staff is simply not knowledgeable about following proper practices for segregating ingredients. But this book could change all that, and as a true foodie I know that I would adore having it!

  30. Recently diagnosed with melanoma, my wife has become very nutritionally conscious. We don't eat out often. This book will come in handy for when we do.

  31. We could use this book so badly. My daughter was just diagnosed with gluten intolerance and I'm sure many of us will follow suit. Most of our drs. are a two hour drive away from home. Even when we eat before walking out the door, after you factor in the drive and the appointment wait, several hours have passed and they are hungry. Being hypoglycemic myself, I'm not supposed to go more than 4 hours without eating. So, we are forced to stop. The new gluten diagnosis has made it next to impossible trying to decide where to go and what to pick up. So much that I found myself going into the grocery store to pick up some gf treats and we ate them in the car. Eating out is definetley stressful and this book would mean the world to us!

  32. Oh this would definitely come in handy for our fam! Eating out is definitely a trial for a family of six that is gf! Having all the help you can get is great!

  38. this book seems like an easy guide to be able to go on a date with my husband and not worry about getting sick from eating at a wrong restaurant. would love to win this.

  39. My family would really enjoy this book considering we haven't went out to eat since our daughter has been diagnosed with Celiac Disease – it's been a few months. It would help us to live a 'normal' life again.

  40. I travel a lot and being new to the gluten-free diet, this would really come in handy

  41. This would be so helpful while traveling and would reduce a lot of time researching where we can eat.

  42. As a newly diagnosed Celiac, I followed my doc's advice and avoided restaurants for the first couple months so I could give my body the best shot to heal. But after 2 months, it's time to get back out into the land of the living!

What better way to help me know restaurant menus and practices than with this book?!

  43. Mainly I'd like this because I really LIKE to know what's in the food that I am being served. This would help tremendously.. as alot of time the employees haven't a clue.
