Now as I stated above, not ALL recipes are gluten-free but one of the great things about living gluten-free is learning for ourselves how to adapt recipes to become gluten-free by just switching out a few ingredients. For example, when a recipe calls for spelt flour, exchange it with your favorite gluten-free blended flour, it’s that easy. I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to teach many how to do this. Dr. Laura’s recipes use clean, wholesome (imagine that! ingredients that I feel confident in sharing with others. Her recipes are close to home tasting, while also being close to the earth. I love that she can make just about anything taste delicious while still using excellent ingredients.
Dr. Laura is incredibly knowledgeable. She has not only received a double major B.A. but also her M.D. Dr. Laura has also trained at the Poland Spring Health Institute, assisting in Primary Care, and at Healthy Mother Healthy Baby Midwifery clinic in Nyuh Kuhning, Bali. Dr. Laura also trained in Chicago and up-state New York and received honors in Psychiatry, Endocrinology, Family Practice, Community Medicine and Medical Education. I know that is the kind of author who is qualified to teach me about balanced diet and wholesome eating. I absolutely love this cookbook with it’s easy to follow recipes and vibrant pictures to drool over along the way. I know you all will love it too!!!
