I celebrated my birthday this past week and let me tell you, it was a blast! My sweet hubby made it so wonderful with all the gluten-free trimmings. From individual creme brulees to red velvet gluten free cupcakes from Sprinkles Bakery (we will be featuring them and doing a giveaway this year and the hardest part for him…an Edward Cullen (from Twilight) birthday card he got everything just right. I woke up to beautiful pink lillies which I just adored! We had a delicious 6 course gluten-free dinner presented by Chef Eric Marten of Maggiano’s Little Italy. It was so amazing! If you have the chance to dine here…DO IT!!! We had everything from white lasagna to buckwheat ravioli to hazelnut chocolate tort and bread pudding for dessert. It was so good! We also used lots of my FREE birthday coupons (click here for all the great places who do stuff for you on your b-day) the rest of the week for more great gluten-free food. My sweet friends took me to Outback for the delicious gluten-free Thunder From Down Under dessert (also a must if you haven’t tried it yet). It was a wonderful birthday…thanks to my amazing family, friends and most of all sweet hubby and son.
