Bob’s Red Mill Giveaway!!!

I had the great opportunity of trying many of the gluten-free products Bob’s Red Mill offers. As many of you know, I have used them in lots of my recipes and have featured this great company before during our 25 Days of Christmas Cookies (gluten-free of course!). Bob’s Red Mill products are very tasty and come from quality ingredients, many of which are certified organic.

The pizza crust is very fluffy and thick. If you like a thick, delicious slice of pizza then you are going to love Bob’s Red Mill gluten-free pizza crust. I found that you could also use a little water on your hands and thin the dough out over a larger baking sheet and make a thinner crust pizza if that is what you prefer. Either way, it is a tasty way to enjoy pizza again!

I used the shortbread mix in a Christmas cookie recipe, my Bob’s Red Mill Candycane Shortbread. This recipe can easily be substituted with any of your favorite hard candies. It is a very versatile mix that makes the creative process of baking, very open. I love it! (If you create something great with this mix, please send it to me and I will highlight you!)

Bob’s Red Mill gluten-free All-purpose flour is a great baking solution for flour. I used it in many of my cookie recipes that I just loved! Some of my favorites were the Strawberries and Cream Cookie Sandwiches and the Pecan Cookie Melts. Yum! (Do remember that this mix includes garbanzo bean flour, so you aren’t going to want to eat the raw cookie dough. It tastes a little different until baked, then it is very good! 🙂

Bob’s Red Mill gluten-free products have also been featured in the renowned, Babycakes cookbook. If you are ever in NYC you HAVE to try these great products!!! They make you see why Bob’s Red Mill can be so delicious! 🙂 We were lucky enough to feature their Chocolate Chip cookie recipe during our 25 Days of Christmas Cookies event. If you missed it, here is the link.

Extra Information I thought you might like from their website:
Bob’s Red Mill has been praised again and again for our dedication to producing products that are free from gluten. People suffering from celiac disease, gluten intolerance, wheat allergies, or who are avoiding gluten for other health reasons can feel assured by the Bob’s Red Mill Gluten Free symbol on all our certified gluten free products. This symbol informs those following a gluten free diet that our products are produced in a dedicated facility free from wheat and other gluten-containing grains or derivatives. We segregate our ingredients and thoroughly clean our equipment between production lines. This symbol also informs consumers that while there is no recognized standard, we only place our gluten free symbol on those products that meet our standard of no more than 20 parts per million which we establish through a gluten test performed in our quality control laboratory. Each product is tested before milling and after packaging. In an effort to better serve our allergen sensitive consumers, our gluten free facility is also dairy and casein free. We have hundreds of gluten free recipes available on our website and a customer service staff ready to help customers who need assistance adjusting to this lifestyle.
