Please tell everyone a little about yourself. I am a mid-twenties Southern girl who LOVES fried chicken and hates gluten! I work for a non-profit that supports fair trade artisans in 58 different countries. I work A TON! But when I’m not working I enjoy cooking, blogging, tennis, and going to the dog park with Max and future husband to be Parrish. And most recently I’m training for my FIRST 5k in April!
Please tell me about your gluten-free blog. Gluten Hates Me is a mish mash of recipes, tips, and my daily life.
How long have you been blogging? Almost two years!
Why did you start a gluten-free blog? I started it as a coping mechanism honestly. When I was first diagnosed, a part of me was happy; I finally knew why I had been sick for so long. But a part of me (a BIG part) was SUPER depressed. I worked at a food co-op. I was constantly surrounded by food, and I felt alone. No one I knew was gluten free. So I really began to depend on the gluten free blogging community for support!
What kinds of products do you feature on your blog? All products gluten free! Also local foods.
What would you like to see with your gluten-free blog in the future? Hmmm….more original recipes. I miss having time to create in the kitchen. Lately it’s hard to even find time to replicate!
What do you love about gluten-free blogging most? The friends I’ve made!
Do you do giveaways? If so, what was your favorite giveaway? YES!! I LOVE giveaways! My favorite giveaway was…all of them! I can’t really rank one over the other.
