Candy Cane Kissed Cookies~25 Days of Christmas Cookies #10

The gluten-free candy cane kisses make these cookies just a little bit sweeter and also add a nice hint of peppermint. I love them!

1/2 c. raw or organic butter
3/4 c. agave or 1 c. raw sugar
1 free-range, organic egg
1 tsp. gluten-free vanilla extract
1 /4 tsp. gluten-free peppermint extract (optional)
3 c. Pamela's Baking mix
(or other gluten-free flour blend, just be sure to add some baking soda and xanthan gum as well)
1 bag Hershey's Candy Cane kisses

*Mix first 4 ingredients. Add baking mix 1/2 cups at a time. Mix into balls and place on a greased baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 14-17 minutes, until golden brown. Gently press an unwrapped candy cane kiss on each cookie as they come out of the oven.
