Gluten Free Examiner

Hey all, I wanted to make you aware that I am a new Phoenix examiner for I will be writing 1-2 articles every week about gluten free living. I would really love the support of my Gluten Free Frenzy readers and fans in this new endeavor. If you would like to read my articles or subscribe to them, I would absolutely love it! I look forward to sharing these articles with many and hope you enjoy them. If you would like to write for your city they are always needing more writers. Please apply and help your community. Here is my latest article.

There are so many great things going on this time of year to accommodate to those of us who are lliving gluten free. I would like to do an article every month about some highlighted events and why I think they would be good to attend. I already listed this months support group meetings in my article, Gluten Free Support for you…right here in Arizona!, however there are some other great events that I would like to share with all of you.

*Live and Eat Well With Celiac Disease!

Guest Speaker: Beth Hillson of Glutino/Gluten Free Pantry

Beth is the founder of Gluten Free Pantry. She has lived gluten free for 30 years so is very knowledgable on this subject. Beth has served as president of the American Celiac Disease Alliance. She also writes a newsletter for her company Gluten Free Pantry. That isn’t all, Beth attended culinary school to learn how to eat more defensivly. In the process she learned how to make some great gluten free food. She is excited to share what she has learned with many. Beth will be speaking about the basics of living gluten free at this event. She will be sharing recipes and suggesting foods to avoid when not dining at home as well. There will be tastings which is always great. If you have the chance to attend this event, it is once in a lifetime opportunity for us gluten free foodies.

Cost: $60 pp includes 4 course dinner with wine pairings, tax, tip ect. $30 includes all the same just without the wine

Chef Eric Martin is dedicated to providing the gluten free community with more opportunities to enjoy a gluten free dinner out. From the sounds of the last gluten free Maggiano’s dinner, it was superb! I heard the meat ravioli and the tirimisu were especially tasty. Don’t miss this great event! As you can see there are so many great events in our area to accomodate the gluten free lifestyle. Enjoy each one and look forward to more.
