Inside-out Burgers w/ Chandice’s specialty fries

2 lbs. ground beef (grass fed organic if possible)
1 lb. sausage (natural, gluten/msg/preservative free)
1/2 onion diced
raw, natural cheddar

*Fry sausage and onion in pan until meat is cooked through. Make sure to break into small pieces as it cooks. RESERVE SAUSAGE OIL FOR FRIES! Split meat into 10 equal parts. Form 5 parts into little dishes leaving a canyon in the center. Place sausage and onion mixture in all five dishes. Top with a little cheese. Take remaining 5 parts of meat and place over dishes sealing edges and flattening a little bit. Grill patties until they are done to your liking (rare, medium rare, well-done…ect.) Serve wrapped in lettuce leaves with your favorite burger toppings. These are amazing burgers!

For the fries…
2 peeled, thick sliced sweet potatoes
2 peeled, thick sliced russet potatoes
reserved sausage grease or you can use olive/or coconut oil
1 tsp each: cumin, Real onion salt, Real garlic salt, Real seasoned salt, paprika, pepper & a pinch of cayenne

*Combine spices in a small bowl. Mix fries in reserved sausage oil or oil of your choice. Place fries on a baking sheet making sure not to let them touch. Sprinkle with spice mix. Bake 30 min. at 375^. Take them out, turn them over and bake another 20 minutes or until they are done to your liking (crispy, extra crispy…ect.) Serve hot with Inside-out burgers!!!
